Angela's love of history inspires her laser cut kits based on beautifully crafted objects that have survived destruction.

Angela says:

I love history and going to places where you can still see beautiful things that have not been destroyed. I’ve spent a lot of time in Egypt, in Alexandria, Luxor and Cairo. I really enjoyed seeing the artefacts there because you can just see the incredible craftsmanship in them – that to me is magic. I get that ‘wow’ feeling when I see those sorts of objects from the past. I don’t like mainstream miniatures, so I try to re-create things inspired by the things I have seen and admired, like the Ancient Egyptian range. I spend a lot of time researching, looking things up, trying to understand who made things, how they made them, how they worked. But I also rely on my memory of things I have seen. I am a very curious person, so I love learning and teaching. I want to pass that feeling of magic on to other people who might open a box with one of my miniatures in and suddenly be taken back in time to a place that no longer exists or be inspired by a beautiful object from the past.
